The first ascent of the route “Michailidi - Trohani” (VI, 650m) was realized on 20/5/1962 by G. Michailidis - I. Trohanis.
The exact course of the route is unknown, since two other neighbour lines, “Botini - Kapogiannatou” and “Michailidi - Pavlidi - Nikolaou”, move on the same part of the crag. But at least, you won’t have trouble finding the beginning of the line, as it starts 15m to the right of a rather shallow gulf, the entrance of which looks like a cave at the base of the rock, while at the beginning of the route the initials of the names of Michailidi - Trohani (MT) as well as the date 20/5/1962 are incised on the rock.
It is a long and adventurous route that requires capability in finding the way as well as quickness when climbing the easy parts of the route; otherwise you won’t avoid the bivouac. In order to repeat this route, one should be equipped with a set of nuts, a few friends and slings.
The route finishes at an open and slopping place, which leads, after 5min walking and without difficulty, to the top’s milestone, from where one can return by following the flat slope to the right, until the dirt road.
