The first ascent of the winter route “Trachanoflo” (AI3 M4, 130m) was made on 5/1/2025 by L. Karachalios - F. Dimopoulos - N. Daris.
The line is located quite far to the right of “Anna Liza” and is clearly visible from the POA refuge, from where it is more logical and easy to access.
The 1st pitch (M3, 30m) starts in a steep narrow gully and follows a passage in which we go slightly left to get to a loft for the belay.
The 2nd pitch (M4, 50m) starts easy and heads towards a characteristic dihedral that takes quite good belays.
The 3rd pitch (50m) moves on a ridge until the exit from the route.
Useful gear for repeating the route is a set of nuts, a set of friends and slings.
The return is by descending from the Portes pass.
