The first ascent of the route “Beautiful” (VI, 250m) was realized on 27/4/1991 by D. Titopoulos - V. Mitsiou.
The line follows a huge, almost horizontal, crack in the rock located in the area of “Botini - Spanoudi”.
For the climb we start next to the path that leads to the top, making an easy pitch (III-) to enter the crack. Then we follow this crack (up to V+) until it ends and then we climb vertically, where the most difficult passage is (VI), to finish at the exit of the wall.
Necessary equipment for repeating the route are a series of nuts, a series of friends and slings. Some pitons have been left on the relays during the first ascent, which are now of dubious quality.
For access we follow the path to the top and, after passing the “Shining Path”, after a while, we will see the characteristic horizontal crack in the rock.
The return after completing the route is by descending from the summit path, which passes very close to its exit. During the descent, after a relatively short distance, as we follow the path, we turn left to eventually pass close to the starting point, so we can leave there something we don’t need during the climb and pick it up on the way back.
