Kakia Thalassa is located in Keratea, Attica, is known for its very beautiful beach and is one of the best climbing areas for the summer.
The crag, which is located above the riverbed, to the right of the beach, was originally called simply “Kakia Thalassa” but in 2024 it was named “Stefanos Moutzouvis”, in honor of the climber who opened most of the routes there.
The crag has a northwest orientation, is suitable for climbing in the summer and is in the shade from morning to noon. After climbing, the sea is delightful, although the beach receives a lot of people.
For access, we follow Lavriou Avenue towards Keratea. From there, we follow the signs for Kakia Thalassa, where there is a parking lot.
