Tomaros is a mountain of the Prefecture of Ioannina with the highest peak at 1974m.
Tomaros is the southern end of a mountain range that moves in a direction from NW to SE, dominating the south of Ioannina. It is surrounded to the east by the Tzoumerka Mountains and to the west by the Souli Mountains. In the north it ends at the plateau of Ioannina. On its northern rocky and steep slopes, is located the ancient oracle of Dodoni.
The rivers Acheron and Louros originate from Tomaros.
The oldest name of this mountain was Olytsikas (or Olytsika) and with this name we find it in many references.
